Mike Madrid has written an excellent - and extremely entertaining! - history of comic book heroines. Especially nice is that he references the current events/cultural scene of the moment so that we can appreciate not only the individual heroines, but what they represented within their own time periods. Great video paying tribute to Gail Simone! Love the final shot!This was posted in the CBR Wonder Woman forum by 'brettc1'. When asked how to give him proper credit, he replied "As to an honorific, wonderfan pretty much says it, unless you want to add "President of the Tom Tresser Appreciation Society". Ha! Artistic talent AND a sense of humor - how can you go wrong?!

Fun with Lie Detectors

This is one of the classic photos of William Moulton Marston working on his lie detector test, with Olive Byrne behind the screen taking notes. The photo came to mind when Pete pulled out an early lie detector prototype to show our visitors.	So, here we have Pete Marston, Barbara Moss (proclaiming her innocence) & her assistant, Christine McKeever, setting up to re-create the original photo	Well, that's Pete, Barbara & Christine TRYING to re-create said lie detector photo...which is a little difficult when all three keep cracking each other up!
Pete, Barbara & Christine with almost straight faces...trying really, really hard	uh oh...about to lose it again (and making the photographer laugh too hard to keep the camera still)	HAHAHA - it's all over! The original photo will have to stand alone!

Wonder Woman's MAC Adventures

	In 2011, MAC teamed up with Wonder Woman and absolutely WOW-ed the world with both their new cosmetic collection AND their new 'Pop-up' stores!
	MAC was incredibly kind, and donated two gorgeous display pieces from their MAC Wonder Woman Pop-up Store in NYC to the Marston Family Wonder Woman Museum. Truly a WONDERful thing to do! Thank you to MAC! And, thank you to Barbara Moss, who made it all happen when she told them about the museum!
Will Holland, William Moulton Marston's great-grandson, arriving with the fantastic MAC neon Wonder Woman sign - WOW!!! THANK YOU, BARBARA! THANK YOU, MAC!	Minor dilemma...Wonder Woman was just too big to fit into the [big!!] car. Passersby collecting on the street in NYC were thoroughly entertained. Some minor creative rock trimming gets her home to Pete, who loves his new addition - thank you, MAC!
	The packaging and presentation for the MAC Wonder Woman Collection was absolutely brilliant!

the New York Comic Con 2010 adventure

We finally made it to a Comic Con! What with the panel that Pete was on and the general chaos, we didn't actually get to see all that much of the action at NYCC, but the DC booth was a must! On the left, Pete Marston checks out the new Wonder Woman statue - in her new costume - due out next spring. She's pretty cute [whoever she is...] Funny but true - I finally spotted one cosplayer in this outfit at NYCC, but nobody recognized her - even in the DC booth!!

Our friend Barbara Moss - oh, strike that! - our friend, Suzy Creamcheeze has a classic moment of delayed recognition while we are in the DC booth chatting with Dan DiDio: "Oh! You're THAT Dan! I know you! I've fallen asleep with your name in my head many times!" Dan questions whether that is a good thing... when he finally stops laughing, he continues on to tell us how busy Wonder Woman is going to be in times to come!

We find Gail Simone at the DC booth, meeting her countless fans with her usual cheerful, gracious charm. Gail may be doing Birds of Prey now, but she'll always be WONDERful!

A major treat of the NYCC day was meeting friends Robert 'Bobby' Jones, Jr. and David Berger, from the CBR Wonder Woman Forum face-to-face for the first time. We had about 90 seconds to say 'Hello' and for Pete to snap a quick picture before we were herded into the panel room! Wonder Woman's friends tend to share her basic positive outlook on the world, and these guys are serious friends of Wonder Woman!

Last minute fun! Pete joined Nicky Wheeler-Nicholson on a panel!
