The internet is so loaded down with blogs and forums that we just took a deep breath and plunged in... and got lucky!

There are an endless number of Wonder Woman related forums; but you can do yourself a big favor and go directly to CBR before expending a whole lot of hours in blind cruising. There are other good forum sites; CBR just offers far more.

CBR is Comic Book Resources, a very interesting site with well written columns, enormous amounts of industry news and... yes, forums!

CBR has a constant and diverse stream of both regular and occasional visitors. You will meet writers and artists and fans that range from casual to hardcore. You can sit back and read and absorb, or you can jump right into the fray.

You will NOT be bored!

Gail Simone, who writes Wonder Woman [and battles to keep her true to character!], got this thing going, and it's growing by leaps and bounds!

The following is quoted from issue #1 of Gail's Wonder of Wonders column, on 9/16/09 [in case you didn't hit the suggested starting link...]:

"...I had recently been thinking that it might be nice to have a Wonder Woman message board where all types of Wonder fans, including those who don’t read comics and wouldn’t know me from Huckleberry Finn, could go and express themselves. I thought, frankly, that it would be a quiet, but friendly, little board that might be a fun way to spend a little time each week..."

"This board is apparently something people have been waiting for. Tons of new people registered, lots of respected pros have dropped by, and on our very first day open we received over a thousand new posts.

As has often happened in the last couple years, Wonder Woman again provides the inspiration. Our quiet little board has become something interesting even to non-Wonder fans, and downright essential to the true believers.

The idea was never to focus on me or the current run of the comic, but rather to embrace the entire idea of Wonder Woman... I wanted fans of the animated shows, the toys, the cosplaying, the novels, the television series and all the various runs of the comic itself, both beloved and not-so-beloved, to be welcome, and it seems to be working beautifully."

"I’m quite proud of it. It really is a message board unlike any other comic-related board I’ve seen. I hope you’ll check it out."

"There will also be guest columns, reviews and interviews with some of the biggest names in comics.

I hope you’ll join us.

No, I insist you join us! Do not attempt to resist!

Seriously, we’re having a ball. Come check it out and see what it is about Wonder Woman that makes so many people love her and her world."

Gail Simone has regular posts, as does writer and artist Phil Jiminez, amongst other notables. Also notable is the co-moderator [along with Gail] for the CBR WW forums, who goes under the name Aegisbearer [wow! we talk to Zeus in CBR!]; who does an excellent job of keeping things flowing creatively [and peacefully!].
